Sixth Committee: Legal Committee

The Sixth Committee is the primary forum for the consideration of legal questions in the General Assembly. All of the U.N. Member States are entitled to representation on the Sixth Committee as one of the main committees of the General Assembly. During the year, the Nigerian proposal Law of the sea and Nigeria is committed to the rule of law, and based her relations with other nations on the principles of international law. International Instruments, conventions and treaties to which Nigeria is signatory, have been domesticated.  Where called for in their provisions, Nigeria as State Party has faithfully fulfilled her obligations.
